Cloudy Day

I'll never be one to deny how much I love a nice cloudy day. Not one of those full cloud-covered days of course (though I do love my fair share of rain and lightening) but a day with soft puffy clouds, the sun peaking through, and big patches of beautiful blue sky. Just sitting on my front porch I took this picture with my fish-eye. It is actually two images collaged together to get good exposure for they sky and the door. This is a very simple and effective technique to keep in mind when shooting landscapes, because it is important to not under or over expose either the subject or the sky.
