I will photograph you!
There are many times when I'm driving around to one place or another and I see something I want to photograph. In the case of this image, I have seen this pair of shoes dangling from the power lines for over two years, being on my route to practically every where I go.
Every time I didn't have my camera, the lighting was not right, or I just didn't have the time. But finally I took the time to get out and shot this image, among others. This isn't the first time this has happened, over the years I have found my career filled with moments where, after the longest time, I finally capture a moment I had been hoping to capture for a long time. Whether this is some conceptual goal or something very specific, like these hanging shoes. Don't miss the opportunity when it arises or it may pass you by.
