Smoky Mountains

This past month I revisited the Smoky Mountains with my wife to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary. We went back to the Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge area, the same place we were married. This year I came equipped with my DJI Phantom 3 drone, which lead to some new photo and video opportunities. So check out the video below for some aerial and ground video of the Smoky Mountains, as well as the towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

For those that follow my blog up to this point, you know I am not much of a talker so I will let the video and photos below speak for themselves! I will say that on the way we passed by a small abandoned amusement park, so of course we had to take a detour for that (along with about another dozen photographers that were already there!).

If you have never been to the Smoky Mountains, I highly recommend this area as not only are you right by the National Park with plenty of trails to hike, but the shopping, food, and entertainment available in these two towns is unlimited! Having been here twice now, we still are finding new places to explore.
