Waterfalls and Caverns
In August, I spent two days travelling all over Indiana with the goal of photographing different waterfalls and caverns. A few waterfalls were revisited from a similar trip a year ago, but this year I went much farther south and discovered surprisingly larger waterfalls to photograph.
I was also excited to learn that some of these parks were open until 11PM, as typically parks close after sunset. I had a blast at some of these locations after dark, taking longer exposures and light painting the falls in pitch black darkness.
During the day I utilized Neutral Density (ND) Filters, so that I could still take long exposures of the falls in broad daylight, capturing beautiful smooth water. I also discovered a couple of amazing caverns to explore, which were located inside these parks allowing you to explore and photograph them at your leisure.
